Kaela Lindsay
MSW, LSW
Staff Therapist

Kaela is a clinical social worker with a lifelong passion for supporting children, youth, and families. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in mental health and a minor in Childhood Studies from Stockton University, where she gained hands-on experience serving marginalized and disadvantaged youth at the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City. That early work deepened Kaela’s commitment to advocacy, safety, and confidence-building for young people.
She went on to earn her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University with an Area of Emphasis in Children, Youth, and Families. As an international adoptee raised in an interracial family, Kaela brings a deeply personal understanding of the complexities of identity, belonging, and the unique challenges many youth face.
Kaela’s therapeutic approach is rooted in unconditional acceptance and the belief that clients are the experts of their own lives. She creates a safe, affirming space for self-discovery while also empowering clients to challenge themselves, build self-advocacy skills, and grow with confidence.
Outside of her work as a therapist, Kaela enjoys spending time with her family — including her two beloved cats — as well as reading, crocheting, and tap dancing.
