At certain points in our lives, most of us will face mental health struggles or emotional challenges.
Our Faye Manger Counseling Department is here to help. Our staff of experienced, licensed therapists
can help you navigate life’s twists and turns, enabling you to build emotional strength and gain insight.
We offer adult, child, adolescent, family, and couples counseling at convenient day and evening hours; both telehealth and in-person options are available. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most third-party insurance. Tell Me More

DISABILITY SERVICES

Our Disability Services Department is committed to enhancing the quality of life of individuals with intellectual disabilities. We believe that every individual should be treated with respect and dignity while pursuing a life of self-determination. We offer employment services, culinary training, an enrichment day program, high school transition services, and social and recreational opportunities to help clients build meaningful lives. Our programs and services are designed to help clients achieve their highest potential while leading independent and fulfilled lives as members of our community.  JFCS is an approved Supported Employment vendor with the New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) and the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). FAMILY ASSISTANCE & FOOD PANTRY

Individuals and families struggling with financial instability can find help through our Rhona Fischer
Family Assistance Program. Our compassionate and caring staff helps to find effective solutions by providing support, resources, counseling, and case management. We strive to empower people to take control of their finances and become economically self-sufficient. Our Project SARAH Domestic Violence Program supports victims and their families, while our Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry offers nonperishable food and personal care items to community members in need. 60+ SENIOR SERVICES

Our 60+ Program is designed to meet the ever-evolving needs of aging adults and their families.
We provide affordable services that allow seniors to live independently and age in place with safety, comfort, and dignity. Services include case management, individual mental health counseling, resource consultations, patient medical advocacy, homemaker services, Kosher catered home delivered meals,
and medical transportation. We also offer support groups for people coping with loss of vision, caregiving, bereavement, and LGBTQ+ concerns. Our Holocaust Survivor Program offers social opportunities,
trauma-informed workshops, advocacy, and financial support for home care services to eligible clients.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteering with JFCS offers you the chance to expand and enrich the lives of people who are vulnerable and in need of help; gain a feeling of personal pride and accomplishment; feel an increased sense of connection to your community; and receive love, warmth, and appreciation from our clients. Opportunities include becoming a friendly visitor, delivering meals, driving clients to medical appointments, patient advocacy, Disability Services program assistance, or helping out at our Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry.
