Individual, Couples & Family Counseling

Our Faye Manger Counseling Department offers support for individuals who are facing emotional challenges precipitated by life events or due to a psychological disorder. Our therapists have the expertise to provide effective individual mental health services that impact emotional well-being. Individual counseling is offered and can address an array of issues, such as: anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief, chronic illness, job-related issues, and sexual and gender identity concerns.

Counseling also provides a space where couples and families can learn techniques for more effective communication and problem solving. Our therapists help to rebuild trust and respect within the relationship. Couples and families can participate in therapy together, to work on issues affecting the entire family. Adoption, work or life transitions, domestic violence, managing conflict during divorce, marital distress, co-parenting, and more can be addressed at JFCS. Working together with a professional counselor can help each family address its unique issues and challenges.
