South Jersey Families Need Your Help – Please Act Today!

Since November 1, more than 130,000 South Jersey residents have lost SNAP benefits, leaving families hundreds of dollars short each month for essential groceries. At JFCS, our Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry has seen a 35% surge in demand, now serving more than 155 families every week. Your support will keep shelves stocked and ensure that children, seniors, and working families don’t go hungry. In this moment of hardship, we have the power — and the responsibility — to care for one another. Together with the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, the Jewish Community Foundation, and caring friends like you, we can fill empty plates and bring hope to families across South Jersey.

Double Your Impact to Feed Local Families!

Two generous local couples, Rhona and Sander Cohen and Betsy and Peter Fischer, are collectively challenging our community to join them in supporting families struggling with hunger. If we can raise $10,000 by November 30, they will match those contributions dollar-for-dollar with another $10,000 — doubling the impact. Every gift counts. Together, we can meet this challenge and ensure no neighbor goes hungry. GIVE NOW to help unlock the match!

Visit Our Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry Mobile Donation Site!

From Monday, November 17 through Tuesday, November 25, JFCS will host a satellite food donation site at the Weinberg Jewish Community Campus — next to the Sari Isdaner Early Childhood Center and JFCS Main Office (1301 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill). Our mobile Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry donation site will be open daily from 10am to 3pm (except Shabbat), accepting donations of Kosher, nonperishable food and supermarket gift cards. Most-needed Kosher items include cereal, granola bars, canned fruits and vegetables, soups, pasta, rice, peanut butter, jelly, juice, shelf-stable milk, canned fish, snacks, baby food, and formula.

Special thanks to NFI Industries for generously donating the trailer that makes this donation site possible!
