Honor MLK Day with an Act of Service

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a National Day of Service—a time to turn a day off into a “day on” by giving back to our community. In that spirit, JFCS invites you to support our annual MLK Day Food Drive to help stock the Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry during the winter months.

Drop off donations on Monday, January 19, from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry, located at 6 East Miami Avenue, Cherry Hill.

Donations of kosher, non-perishable food items and household essentials are greatly needed. Most-requested items include shelf-stable milk, cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix, canned tomato products and fish, peanut butter and jelly, rice, pasta, macaroni & cheese, canned fruits and vegetables, kosher soups, juice, snacks, baby food and formula, diapers, toiletries, paper goods, and cleaning supplies.

Together, we can honor Dr. King’s legacy through meaningful action that supports our neighbors in need.
