Finding Support through Life’s Most Difficult Moments

Life’s most profound challenges—loss, grief, and major transitions—can feel isolating. Support groups offer a powerful reminder that no one has to navigate these experiences alone. By bringing people together in a safe, compassionate environment, these groups create space for connection, understanding, and healing. Sharing stories, listening to others, and being witnessed in your grief can be an important step toward moving forward.

At JFCS, we are proud to offer specialized support groups designed to meet individuals where they are, providing comfort, community, and care during life’s most difficult times.

Parental Bereavement / Loss of a Child Group
Begins Wednesday, April 15 – Call for time and details

We understand that grief does not end with Shiva. Our Parental Bereavement Group offers a compassionate and supportive space for parents who have lost a child of any age, from any cause. Participants are invited to share their experiences, honor their children’s memories, and find strength in a community of others who truly understand. Together, members support one another on the path toward healing in an atmosphere of empathy and respect.

For more information or to join, please contact Rebecca Rosenau, Senior Director of Clinical and Older Adult Services, at (856) 424-1333 ext. 1702 or rrosenau@jfedsnj.org.
