Living with vision loss can be a challenging and often isolating experience. Conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye diseases can affect an individual’s ability to drive, read, manage daily tasks, and maintain their independence – often leading to frustration, anxiety, and social isolation.
To help South Jersey’s older adults (55+) navigate these challenges, the JFCS Low Vision Educational and Support Group provides practical information, emotional support, and opportunities to connect with others facing similar challenges. Participants can access valuable resources, share personal experiences, and learn from presentations by experienced professionals.
Upcoming meeting dates are August 20, September 17, October 22, November 19, December 17, and January 21, following a hybrid virtual / in-person format.
