Susan Raskind
Counseling Intern

Susan Raskind is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Prior to entering her graduate program, she worked as an educator in a public elementary school for 25 years. Throughout her career, she listened to students and parents share their struggles and challenges, which inspired her to pursue counseling as a second career and support individuals in a more direct way.

Susan believes that every individual has unique strengths and the capacity for growth and healing. She takes a collaborative, client-centered approach and works to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their concerns. Drawing from evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Susan helps clients develop practical tools and strategies to navigate life’s challenges and work toward their personal goals.
