Become a JFCS volunteer and make a difference today!

Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) is currently seeking dedicated volunteers to support several essential programs that serve vulnerable members of our community. Whether you’re fluent in Russian, skilled at lifting, or simply have a few hours to give each week, your time and compassion can make a lasting impact.

Russian-Speaking Drivers
JFCS is urgently looking for Russian-speaking volunteers to assist with weekly Kosher Meals on Wheels (KMOW) deliveries on Tuesday mornings. Volunteers will pick up meals at the Saltzman House in Cherry Hill at 10 a.m. and deliver them to clients in Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester counties, with occasional deliveries to Vineland. This is a meaningful way to bridge language barriers and bring culturally appropriate support directly to the homes of older adults.

Produce and Egg Delivery Volunteers
Reliable volunteers are needed to help pick up and deliver fresh produce and eggs to the Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Tasks include transporting boxes from local stores and helping to assemble produce bags for pantry storage. Light lifting is required.

Heavy Lifters
If you’re able-bodied and available during weekday business hours, the JFCS Food Pantry can use your strength. Volunteers are needed to help lift, carry, and unpack large food deliveries on an occasional basis.

These roles offer a tangible way to give back and support your neighbors with dignity and care. For more information or to get involved, contact Lisa Freedman Enda, JFCS Volunteer Manager, at lenda@jfedsnj.org or call (856) 424-1333 ext. 1265.
