
Caryn Cutler
Caryn joined Jewish Family and Children’s Service in 2025, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in public education as both a general education and special education teacher. Throughout her career, Caryn has been dedicated to creating inclusive learning environments, developing innovative programming, and supporting individuals with diverse abilities in reaching their full potential.
She began her tenure at JFCS as the Senior Manager of Curriculum and Social Programming, where she led the development and implementation of several new initiatives, including SAIL Jr. and J-Time After-School Respite. Caryn also spearheaded the revitalization of existing programs, such as Soups & Sweets, enhancing curriculum, participant engagement, and overall program quality. In addition, she played a key role in expanding employment readiness opportunities by developing guidelines for the organization’s Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) programs.
As the Director of Disability Services, Caryn is committed to advancing JFCS’s mission of empowering individuals with disabilities and their families through innovative programming, meaningful community engagement, and person-centered support. Drawing on her extensive background in education, curriculum development, and program leadership, she strives to create opportunities that foster independence, inclusion, skill development, and lifelong success for those served by JFCS.
Caryn is passionate about building strong community partnerships, expanding accessible services, and ensuring that every individual can thrive, contribute, and feel valued within their community.
Caryn holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rutgers University in Psychology and Elementary/Special Education. In her spare time, Caryn enjoys traveling, reading, yoga, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
