
JFCS is committed to providing opportunities for our community’s teens to experience philanthropy and help those in need. We hope these formative experiences will spark a lifelong dedication to service!
Help in the Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry
– Bag food for clients* (during select times)
– Collect NEW pajamas, socks, underwear, or books (tags still on, please!)
– Collect Walmart, Target, or Wawa gift cards
Help Senior Services Clients
– Create and deliver “blizzard bags” to keep on hand for emergencies
– Facilitate Shabbat or holiday services at an assisted living facility*
Help Disability Services Clients
– Socialize as a peer to young adults with disabilities through our SOAR program
Help Holocaust Survivors
– Hold a Shoprite gift card drive
– Write letters or make birthday cards for local Holocaust Survivors
– Share your talent (singing, dancing, playing an instrument) at a Love Café Europa program
Help Project SARAH Clients
– Collect Wawa, Wal mart, or Target gift cards for domestic violence survivors
– Create personal care bags containing toiletries, feminine products, toothbrushes, and toothpaste
* These opportunities must be performed
in conjunction with a parent.
