Join JFCS in honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through service to our community. On Monday, January 19, 2026, from 10:00am to 1:00pm, we will host our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Food Drive to support the Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry.
Donations of kosher, non-perishable food and essential household items are greatly needed to help keep pantry shelves stocked during the cold winter months. Your generosity ensures that individuals and families facing food insecurity can rely on nutritious meals and basic necessities when they need them most.
Most-needed items include: shelf-stable milk; hot and cold cereal; pancake mix; oatmeal; canned tomato products and fish; peanut butter and jelly; rice, pasta, and macaroni & cheese; canned fruits and vegetables; kosher soups; juice and snacks; baby food and formula; diapers; toiletries; paper towels; toilet paper; and cleaning products.
