Rachael brings more than 25 years of professional experience in nonprofit leadership, customer relations, marketing, communications, and fundraising to her role as Director of Marketing & Communications at JFCS.

Rachael spent more than 15 years in the world of performing arts marketing – first as Associate Director of Marketing Services at New York’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, then as Director of Program Marketing at Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Through these experiences, she developed expertise in brand identity, social media content creation, public relations, database management, audience services, and project management – all while nurturing her lifelong passion for live performance in its many forms.

In 2015, Rachael shifted her professional focus towards Jewish communal work when became the Director of Admissions and Development Associate at Politz Day School of Cherry Hill. In this role, she helped foster significant enrollment growth and spearheaded several successful fundraising campaigns. Since joining the JFCS staff in February 2019, she has worked to spread awareness about the incredible and meaningful work this agency does every single day.

Rachael holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School for the Arts and a Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music. She has performed with the Opera Festival of New Jersey and the Central City Opera Company and completed advanced musical studies at the Tanglewood Music Festival and the Ezio Pinza Council for American Singers of Opera in Oderzo, Italy. (These days, her singing is limited to serenading her daughters in the car.)

She lives on the west side of Cherry Hill with her daughters – Maia, Ayelet, Orli, and Galia – and her beloved rescue pit bull, Ruby Sparkles. With deep roots throughout our vibrant South Jersey Jewish community, Rachael is a longtime member of Young Israel of Cherry Hill, where she is proud to serve as a Board member.
