SAIL is a social, recreational, and life skills program for young adults who require minimal support in a group setting. This program is designed for young adults who have graduated from high school, can be independent within the community, and are open to meeting new friends and having fun.
SAIL activities can include doing things within the community such as bowling, movies, plays or sporting events, or just hanging out with friends playing games or watching movies in our social lounge. Other activities such as Special Olympics sports, discussion groups, Birthright trips to Israel, financial literacy classes, cooking classes, and art classes round out the array of activities offered. SAIL participants are involved with the selection and planning of activities. There is a yearly registration fee to participate with additional event fees for most activities. All events are staffed by professionals.
