This is not your typical cookbook! With very few exceptions, the recipes in this cookbook are used in the Soups and Sweets kitchen; they have been meticulously curated, tested, and edited by our staff, volunteers, and students. You may recognize the recipes from our Friday sales at the Katz JCC, synagogue kiddushes, and Jewish Federation events. Our recipes represent the intense commitment of those who have nurtured this program over the years—and have been held under lock and key until now.
This book is a celebration of Jewish values, the vision and commitment of JFCS, and the achievements of our students.
