VIRTUAL 5KRun / Walk 4 Family & Friends with Cancer
October 1, 2021 - October 3, 2021
The 13th Annual 5KRun/5KWalk 4 Family and Friends with Cancer has gone virtual! This year, participants have the option to sign up for a Virtual 5K Run or Virtual 5K Walk. When registering, choose the date (October 1 thru October 3), the time, and location where you will run or walk. You can complete your distance on a trail, road, sidewalk, treadmill, around your backyard – or even around your living room! For those running a 5K, you can email your time to the event organizers at walk4ff@gmail.com and they will post it – it’s the honor system. As in past years, funds raised from this event will benefit two non-profit organizations: The Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania and the JFCS Financial Assistance for Cancer Patients Program, which provides financial assistance for local families affected by cancer.
