Presenter Joseph “Joe” Scullen, MSW will discuss issues that aging parents and caregivers should consider as they plan the long-term needs of their loved ones. Joe has decades of experience navigating the world of disability services as a parent, grandparent, professional, and mentor of individuals with disabilities and their families. He worked for the United Cerebral Palsy Association for over 35 years, retiring in 2013 as Director of Community Social Services. Through his networking and activism he has helped countless children, families, and organizations identify and secure private and government benefits, and supported them through the complex web of long term planning.
