Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) is here to support you through the challenging journey of grief. Seeking help to navigate life’s inevitable losses is a courageous and empowering step, regardless of the nature or timing of the loss. Our compassionate team is dedicated to providing expert guidance, offering care that helps you find strength through community and personal growth.
The Spring session of our Grief Support Group will begin on Tuesday, April 22, from 10:30am until 12 noon at the JFCS main office. This group is specifically designed for individuals aged 60 and older who are mourning the recent death of a spouse or life partner. It offers a safe and supportive environment where participants can express a wide range of emotions and learn effective coping strategies to help integrate the loss into their new reality.
The program requires a $36 registration fee for six biweekly meetings (scholarships are available). Advance RSVP is required. To reserve your spot, please contact Reva Farenback-Brateman at (856) 424-1333 ext. 1184 or email rfbrateman@jfedsnj.org.
The Grief Support Group is sponsored by LifeForce Caregivers for the Elderly, with grant funding by the Raymond & Gertrude R. Saltzman Foundation.
