Meredith Siegel Cohen brings her rich and varied experience with JFCS to her newest role of Senior Director of Programs. A seasoned employee of 12 years, she has led the agency through three highly successful Council on Accreditation (COA) re-accreditations and spearheads our Performance Quality Improvement processes to ensure risk management adherence, compliance and safety for employee, and client satisfaction.

She has fostered relationships and collaborated with community partners in the development and coordination of critical awareness and prevention programs to reduce addiction and overdose deaths, youth suicide, and stress and anxiety among South Jersey tweens and teens. Through a government outreach initiative, she has worked to educate federal and state legislators and local government leaders on the services provided by JFCS. She has also authored and edited dozens of speeches, articles, grants, and correspondence with donors.

In her capacity as Senior Director of Programs, Meredith oversees the service lines of the agency and supports the program directors in managing, supervising, and administering the agency’s programs and operations. She shares, “it is an honor and a privilege to work with such dedicated, professional and talented individuals who work tirelessly to meet the needs of so many individuals in our community.”

Meredith holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Tulane University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore. She is a proud past recipient of the JFCS Unsung Hero Award and the JFCS John Adler Government Advocacy Mission Award. In her free time, Meredith enjoys movies, travel, museums, reading, journaling, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
