Volunteers Spread the Warmth of Thanksgiving Throughout our Community!

As Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) reflects on this meaningful season of gratitude, our hearts are filled with appreciation for the incredible dedication and generosity of our community’s volunteers. This Thanksgiving, they made sure that our clients felt cared for, supported, and surrounded by kindness. Together, with the help of 54 volunteers, we packed and delivered 302 meals to 191 households. These are more than just numbers: they represent holiday warmth and comfort brought to our neighbors in need.

We want to extend special thanks to Senator James Beach and Sabrina Spector, Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council, for going the extra mile in this tremendous undertaking. Their hands-on help delivering meals truly made a difference for our clients. To the Saltzman House, thank you for graciously hosting our Thanksgiving meal distribution and providing the perfect space to bring this initiative to life. We are deeply grateful for the extraordinary work our volunteers do to make this community stronger, at Thanksgiving and throughout the year!
