Volunteers Sweeten the New Year for JFCS Clients!

JFCS extends our heartfelt gratitude to 40 of wonderful volunteers for their support and hard work throughout this year’s Rosh Hashana meal deliveries. Thanks to their dedicated efforts, we were able to deliver 234 meals to 125 client households across Camden, Gloucester, and Burlington counties. These acts of kindness meant the world to our clients and truly brought the spirit of the holiday to life. Our volunteers’ generosity of spirit is an inspiration, and we are so grateful to have them all as part of our team!

A special thank you also goes to the Saltzman House for allowing us to use their space for the meal distribution, helping to ensure that everything ran smoothly. This tremendous undertaking would not have been possible without the expert behind-the-scenes support and coordination of our Volunteer and Senior Services teams, including Sherri Jonas, Miranda Mason, Wendy Hernberg, Jessica Markus, and Ashly Weingardt.

On behalf of the JFCS staff and Board, we wish our South Jersey community a sweet New Year filled with health, happiness, and peace.
