This fall, you can help stock the shelves of the JFCS Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry by participating in Jewish Family & Children’s Service’s Community High Holiday Food Drive. Your donations of kosher, non-perishable food items and household essentials help provide nourishment and dignity to neighbors facing food insecurity.
Most-needed Kosher items include shelf-stable milk, hot and cold cereal, pancake mix, canned tomato products, canned fish, peanut butter and jelly, rice, pasta, macaroni and cheese, canned fruits and vegetables, kosher soup, juice, snacks, baby food, baby formula, diapers, toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products.
The Community High Holiday Food Drive will be held on Tuesday, September 22 from 10am to 1pm at the Rhona Fischer Family Assistance Building (6 East Miami Avenue in Cherry Hill). Donations may also be dropped off at the JFCS Main Office (1301 Springdale Road, Suite 150 in Cherry Hill) Monday through Thursday from 9am to 3pm.
