JFCS is delighted to share some exciting news about the growth and evolution of our leadership team. These changes reflect our commitment to nurturing talent within the agency and positioning JFCS for an even brighter future. It is with great enthusiasm that we announce several promotions within our organization.
Rebecca Rosenau: Senior Director of Clinical and Older Adult Services. In addition to leading the agency’s Faye Manger Counseling Department, Rebecca will assume leadership of Older Adult Services (formerly the Senior Services or 60+ Department). As an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has successfully led both departments during her tenure at JFCS, Rebecca’s knowledge and experience position her to successfully lead both of these departments concurrently. Adult counseling, counseling for children and adolescents, senior counseling, group counseling, and community awareness programming will continue to fall under her purview, as will the Project SARAH domestic violence program. Rebecca will also oversee services and programming for older adults, including case management, Patient Partners, senior transportation, catered home delivered meals, senior groups, and housekeeping services.
Oriel Weinberg: Senior Director of Disability Services. As our Disability Services Department prepares to move back into the newly renovated Jonathan Sinay Building at 1721 Springdale Road, there is a lot of excitement and anticipation surrounding the growth and expansion of many of JFCS’s signature programs for individuals with disabilities, which will operate out of this beautifully appointed building. Oriel will continue to lead us forward in his new role, drawing on his great vision and industry expertise. He will be focused on further growing our hallmark services as well as creating new service offerings. Oriel and his team will be sharing the Jonathan Sinay Building with colleagues from the Aleph Adult Day Center and Weinberg Commons.
Sherri Jonas: Senior Director of Special Projects and Volunteers. In addition to overseeing the Volunteer Department, Sherri will lead the agency through Council on Accreditation (COA) re-accreditations and spearhead our Performance Quality Improvement processes to ensure risk management adherence, compliance and safety for employees, and client satisfaction. Sherri will work across all JFCS departments in gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing data. This will ensure that JFCS meets compliance requirements, provides crucial information for grants and financial reporting, and enhances our ability to measure impact.
Kelly Guiliano: Relationships & Development Manager. Kelly will manage donor relationships and coordinate efforts to foster engagement, education, fundraising, and ambassadorship. Kelly will ensure the maintenance of our robust systems for funds development, including donor management, gift processing, stewardship, and special events management. Her efforts will focus on enhancing relationships with donors, the JFCS Board, the Jewish Federation of Southern NJ, and event attendees, helping to ensure that JFCS continues to carry out our mission.
Lydia Silpe: Grants & Outreach Manager. Lydia will continue to oversee the JFCS grants process, including both writing and prospecting. Her work will be crucial in securing funding to support our many programs and services. Lydia will collaborate closely with our colleagues at the Jewish Federation of Southern NJ, ensuring alignment in our efforts to support our community. In this expanded full-time role, she will serve as an agency ambassador at outreach engagements, helping to raise awareness of our services and deepen our connections throughout the community.
These promotions represent not just individual achievements, but a collective step forward for JFCS. Each of these dedicated professionals brings unique skills, passion, and vision to their new roles. As we implement this new structure, we are filled with optimism about the positive impact it will have on our agency’s operations and the quality of services we provide. Our newly promoted leaders, working alongside our talented staff, Board of Directors, and committed volunteers, will drive innovation, enhance our programs and services, and deepen our community connections. Together, we will build upon JFCS’s strong foundation to create an even more robust, responsive, and impactful agency.
The future of JFCS is bright, and we are excited to embark on this new chapter as we move forward in our mission to provide hope and healing to those in need in our community!
