JFED RIDES

In partnership with Envoy America, JFed Rides is an accompanied transportation service that provides rides for older adults living in Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester Counties. Using their own older adult-friendly vehicles, Companion Drivers will come to members’ doors, help them get into the car, and walk them back to their door. They can even help put groceries away! Thanks to a grant from the Raymond & Gertrude R. Saltzman Foundation, eligible community members (Jewish residents of Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester Counties, age 60+) may quality for subsidized rides each month. Tell me more…

FRIENDLY VISITORS

Friendly Visitor volunteers bring friendship and companionship to seniors and homebound adults through home visits and phone calls. JFCS is always looking for volunteers who want to engage with our clients. Matches are ongoing and it may take a few months to connect each volunteer with a client who has similar desires and interests.

PATIENT PARTNERS

For many older adults, going to the doctor can be difficult, especially when trying to remember or understand the information the doctor imparts. The JFCS Patient Partners program offers a remedy to this dilemma by pairing trained volunteers with clients to accompany the patient to their doctor appointments. Tell Me More
