Purim is around the corner, and that means costumes, Hamantaschen, and the mitzvah of giving! But Purim isn’t just about dressing up and celebrating—it’s also about Matanot L’Evyonim, the act of giving to those in need.
This year, JFCS is turning the spirit of Purim into action at our Purim Food Drive on Monday, March 17, at the Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantry (6 East Miami Avenue, Cherry Hill). Let’s honor the holiday by spreading joy and generosity to those who need it most!
How You Can Help
✅ Bring Your Donations & Make a Difference! Drop off kosher, non-perishable food items from 10 AM to 1 PM. Every contribution—whether canned goods, boxed pasta, peanut butter, or soup—helps ensure families in our community can celebrate Purim with full hearts and full stomachs. See our most-needed items here.
✅ Spread the Word! The more people who participate, the more families we can help! Share this event with friends, family, and community members.
✅ Shop Our Amazon Wish List! Can’t make it in person? No problem! Order from our Amazon Wish List and have your donation delivered directly to our pantry. It’s a simple way to give from anywhere!
