Transition planning as a child with disabilities approaches adulthood can feel very overwhelming. Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) is here to help guide parents through this process and help them understand the crucial parts of planning once their child transitions away from a school setting. On Tuesday, June 4 at 7pm, the JFCS Disability Services Committee will hold its final workshop of the season. The entire community is invited to join us for a lively panel discussion with three local parents who were active advocates during their children’s high school years, as they planned for vocational, day, and post-secondary programs. This workshop will be held in Room 204 of the Katz JCC (upstairs). In-person attendance is strongly encouraged (Zoom option available upon request). To register, click HERE.
